Indonesia Earthquakes

Two large earthquakes struck near Padang, Indonesia in as many days, killing over 1000 people and leaving tens of thousands more injured or homeless.

GlobalGiving projects are delivering water treatment systems, setting up a transitional shelter program and providing supplies.

Tropical Storms in the Philippines, Vietnam & Laos

Typhoons Ketsana and Parma have wrought destruction and led to flooding across Southeast Asia. More than 400 people died, over 100 are still missing and hundreds of thousands have been affected.

The situation here is desperate. Many people survive on less than $2 a day. The flooding will make matters much worse.

Tsunami in the Samoan islands & Tonga

An earthquake in the Pacific triggered a tsunami that killed more than 170 people and swept away entire villages in Samoa, American Samoa and Tonga.
