Thank you to everyone who participated in America's Giving Challenge to raise money for grassroots causes on GlobalGiving. We appreciate the time and effort it took to make this whole endeavor a success for PARADE Magazine, the Case Foundation, GlobalGiving and the over 400 grassroots projects that benefited from your hard work. GlobalGiving Superlative Awards:

In the last 4 days of the Challenge we encouraged fundraisers to keep mobilizing donors by offering additional incentives.

Most Challenge Spirit: Mobilize at least 25 additional donors and finish in 5th - 10th place on the GlobalGiving Leaderboard, and GlobalGiving will match the top donation up to $1,000.

Most Improved: If you climb the most rungs on the Leaderboard ladder, we will give you $10 for every unique donor it took to improve your ranking - up to $2,500.

  • Vickie H., of Lambi Fund of Haiti, earned $90 extra by moving 13 spots, from 42nd place to 29th place with 9 new donors.
  • Erin Kelly of Students Helping Honduras, earned $2,500 extra by moving 5 spots, from 7th place to 2nd place with 1,353 new donors

Daily Matching Awards (Mini-Challenges):

The fundraiser with the most unique donors in each 24-hour period between January 21 and January 26 had their largest donations in that time period matched.
