Jenny Bowen - Executive Director

Jenny Bowen is a visionary leader who has earned the trust and cooperation of the Chinese government in HTS’ quest to bring the benefits of family to some of China’s most disadvantaged citizens—its orphaned and abandoned children. A former screenwriter and film director, she is skilled at overcoming cultural barriers to forge partnerships to successfully implement HTS’ programs.

Zhang Yuxia - Program Director, HTS Foster Village Project

Zhang Yuxia is one of the few women recognized as Model Workers in all of China. After retiring from her post as Director of the Hefei Social Welfare Institute, where she was the guiding force in the creation of the Sunbeam Village at Hefei, Anhui Province, Madame Zhang has been instrumental in the establishment of HTS’ foster care mode
