Alex Mahoney - Mgr. Disaster Programs, Asia, Middle East & Europe
Alex joined the Red Cross last year after 9 years at the U.S. Agency for International Developmentās Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (USAID/OFDA). At OFDA, Alex worked on a variety of natural disasters and complex emergencies, both from Washington and the field, in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. His most recent assignment was to Lebanon in response to the summer 2006 conflict.
Tracy Reines - Director, International Disaster Response
Tracy joined the Red Cross Movement in 2000 where she worked in Kigoma refugee camps in Tanzania managed by International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (International Federation). She has also worked on projects with Red Cross in New York (September 11, 2001 family assistance), and on disaster operations in Grenada, Sri Lanka and Mozambique.
