Nepali girls, some as young as six, are being sold by their families into bonded servitude. The families don't want to sell their daughters, but they can't afford to live without the $50 they receive for their daughters' labor. NYOF rescues these girls, gives each of their families a piglet or goat to replace the money from selling their daughter, and sponsors the girls' education for six years. This includes all school supplies, uniforms, books, and a kerosene lamp to study at night.
