• About My Inner Philanthropist (why I give): Because I see what a mess religion, especially the fundamentalists, our leaders, both Church and political, have made of this planet. I'm not an out and out Greenie but I care about our environment and what we are going to leave to our children to sort out. No doubt my parents thought the same thing, but I am horrified at what my children are going to have to live through. Hopefully technology will have caught up to relieve some of the worst aspects but their lives will be very different.
