• About My Inner Philanthropist (why I give): There was a woman named Juanita who helped us with laundry everyday in Lima. Barely 20, she had two kids and lived in a makeshift house with a tin roof just down the street. Just like her, Lima has millions of people who came from the countryside in search of a better life in Lima. Kids juggle at intersections, women sell candy, men shine shoes and wash cars. I give because no one works harder than they do, and with a little help, they can change the face of Peru.
