FURALCAMP: Generating Income in Rural Colombia
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThe program helps to generate employment for all family members, combating problems such as juvenile delinquency, prostitution and drug addiction. To implement our plans we require a "Seed Capital," which enables us to buy land, settle educational programs, perform infrastructure works and develop production projects. The people who the project benefits are retired workers, elderly and unemployed peasants, and families displaced by political violence. ActivitiesThis project aims to organize a pilot village in the rural zone of the municipality of Viotá, with the participation of 100 families, including those who have been displaced by the lifting of tariff barriers and political violence.
