Job Training for Poor Mothers in Brazil
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesSome mothers need social assistance, guidance, material and technical skills to make them competitive professionals. Once these mothers become professionals, they will be able to get into the formal job market and generate income. We will offer 160 vacancies for several courses: hairdressing, manicure, painting on material, sewing, and computer courses. This project is meant to last for one year. ActivitiesTo professionalize courses for 160 mothers. The courses include theoretical notions, demonstration, and on-the-job training. Acquisition of sewing equipment: machines, material for everyday use, and kits for the graduates.
