EARTHTOUCH: Environmental Leader-Training in Chile
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesEarthtouch project sees the need for an experiential outdoor education training framework–as yet non-existent in Chile or Argentina–combining modern practice with indigenous and traditional rural values. Beneficiaries are educators, ecoguides, student teachers, NGO workers, and other outdoor activity facilitators in the target areas, as well as all the people that they work with. We hope to extend the activity to similar target groups in North America and Europe. ActivitiesActivities are 5-day residential field training programs based on two new handbooks, for initial use in Chile and Argentina, and later in N. America and Europe.
