More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesDrug addtion constitute an extremely serious problem in Peru because it is the world's largest producer of coca leaves and their derivatives, especially in the Upper Amazon where we work. This problem did not exist in the region before the phenomenon of drug trafficking. Even though there is consierable demand for treatment, there is no specialized drug addiction rehabiliation facility in the Amazon region. To finance the 9 month treatement of 5 local patients.
