Project Needs and Beneficiaries

Drug addtion constitute an extremely serious problem in Peru because it is the world's largest producer of coca leaves and their derivatives, especially in the Upper Amazon where we work. This problem did not exist in the region before the phenomenon of drug trafficking. Even though there is consierable demand for treatment, there is no specialized drug addiction rehabiliation facility in the Amazon region. To finance the 9 month treatement of 5 local patients.

Activities

To disseminate an original therapeutic model to international & regional community. 9-month treatment for 5 drug addicts: Plants ingestion, Psychotherapy, Group dynamic, Coexistence, Corporal expression, Progressive reinsertion in the last trimester

To provide an alternative therapy to the problem of drug abuse which would be faster, low cost, efficient, and available to everyone regardless of financial status. Until now, the treatment has a success rate of %67.
