More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesIn Peru, 3% receive medical attention from armed forces or National Police hospital, 4% through private services, 24% throughsocial security services, 25% by institutions under the ministry of health, and 44% have no access to formal health care. This 44% is likely using natural & herbal treatments, services of local healers, and other natural medicines. This project will improve access to formal health services for ~50,000 persons. Activities90 “Bridges of Life” in areas lacking adequate equipment and doctors, nurses, & support...will offer free medical care, diagnoses, and medicine and provide general medicine, pediatric, gynecological, dental, and dermatology.
