Mission

Equal Access creates positive social change for large numbers of people in the developing world by providing access to critically needed information and education through effective partnerships and community engagement, locally produced and targeted content, and the use of appropriate and cost-effective technology.

Programs

Equal Access has radio and outreach programs in Nepal, Afghanistan & India. In Nepal, 10 programs provide millions of listeners with info. on subjects such as women’s empowerment, HIV/AIDS & human rights. Trained local peer educators lead discussion groups to further the impact of the information. In Afghanistan, 3.8 million rural Afghans can tune into a language service to listen to programs on agriculture, civic education, elections, landmine awareness and counter-narcotics.

Previously, as a Strategic Communications and Business Development Consultant, Ronni has over 16 years experience implementing communications initiatives and programs for Fortune 500 Corporations and the United Nations. Ronni holds a Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude from SUNY Buffalo and studied Cultural Anthropology and Media at NYU.
