To eliminate needless blindness and provide affordable, high quality eye care service to all, rich or poor.

Programs

Aravind is the largest and most productive eye facility in the world. It sees over 1.4 million patients and performs over 200,000 sight restoring surgeries each year. Two-thirds of its services, are free. Aravind’s a range of activities cover the entire spectrum of eye care delivery. High quality clinical services, a massive outreach programs, medical and managerial training programs, capacity building services as well as the manufacture and export of affordable ophthalmic products.
