More Information About this Project
Project Needs and Beneficiaries
Currently, 2 billion people (1/3 of the worlds population) have no access to electricity. Energy access is a basic component of improved living conditions and income generation. Neither governments nor utility companies have adequate solutions for this problem. Social entrepreneur Fábio Rosa developed a sustainable model to bring electricity to this population. This project will bring electricity to 1,000 poor families and consolidate the model to be replicated throughout the world.
