IDEAAS
Mission
“IDEAAS’ mission is to create, implement and expand sustainable development models, especially in rural areas, for low income populations.”
Programs
•The Electricity Now Project: An original approach to providing electricity to the rural poor. The clients do not buy the solar panels. They pay a monthly electricity bill based on their past expenditure on non-renewable energy, such as kerosene, candles and batteries.
•The Quiron Project: integrates sustainable rural development, income generation, renewable energy, management of native biodiversity, forestry with native species and actions against climate change for carbon credits.
