More Information About this Project

Project Needs and Beneficiaries

The tsunami destroyed much of the village of Mullaitivu, including the fishing boats and other means of income generation, homes, schools, roads, and water facilities. SEED (Social Economical and Environmental Developers) provided emergency relief directly after the tsunami and now wishes to provide economic, infrastructure, and social development to 400 families in Mullaitivu. SEED uses the participatory approach, ensuring the rehabilitation projects align with the wishes of the community.
