More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThalassemia and leukemia are blood diseases that affect thousands of Iraqis. A Thalassemia Center and Blood Bank is currently being rehabilitated, however the need to change public perceptions of these diseases and of blood donations remains unfulfilled. ActivitiesThis project will fund advertising and promotional costs for a campaign to increase awareness about blood diseases and the importance of blood donations. Funding InformationTotal Funding Received to Date: $1,000 Funding InformationThis project is now in implementation and no longer available for funding. Received funds will be used to accomplish concrete objectives as indicated in the project's "Activities" section. Updates will be posted under the "Progress Report" tab as they become available.
