Mission

International Education and Resource Network (iEARN) is a global K-12 online project-based learning network. “The vision and purpose of iEARN is to enable young people to undertake projects designed to make a meaningful contribution to the health and welfare of the planet and its people” (Preamble to the iEARN Constitution). Educators are the key to successful online collaboration. iEARN has trained over 45,000 educators from more than 110 countries since 1988.

Personnel Overview

Balbine Tagne - General Secretary
Mrs Balbine Tagne teaches German at secondary/high school (Lycee de Newbell-Douala) in Republic of Cameroon. Involved in iEARN since 2003, Balbine holds degrees in German & Education. In 2004 Balbine was nominated by SchoolNet Africa to mentor the French Educator Development Network (http://edn.schoolnet.org.za). She is the coordinator of global teenager project learning circle in Cameroon.

Donfack Chiozem Aurel - Student at Lycee Joss
Aurel Donfack is student at secondary/high school Lycee Joss Douala; he is 12 years old, class level 7. Aurel started learning computer sciences when he was 7 years old. Now he is the facilitator of the computer in his school. In 2004- 2005 he took part to many online iEARN forums. He is also member of health club of Lycee Joss.

Dongo Floriane Orly - Student at Lycee Joss
Floriane Orly Dongo is student at secondary/high school Lycee Joss Douala; he is 15 years old, class level 9. Floriane started learning computer sciences when he was 13 years old. In 2004- 2005 he took part to many online iEARN forums. He is also member of health club and computer club of Lycee Joss.
