Why this Project is Important

Potential Long Term Impact

Tribal women can maintain their indigenous cultural identity while they confront the changing market economy. Land titles in the names of women will also provide them with greater social and economic security and insure them against exploitation.

Project Message

"The community women have started land leveling on the wasteland for the sustainable agriculture project. We are very hopeful that there will be a change for the better with this project.”
- Anupama Rout, Project Manager
