More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThe three target villages of the Deogarh district are remote and difficult to access. The tribal community of this region is near starvation, with many migrating to the neighboring district for food and work in the thermal plant. ActivitiesTraining women for land development through bio-farming and indigenous farming methods, developing grain and seed banks, lobbying for land titles, and leveling wastelands using sustainable and organic methods. Why this Project is ImportantPotential Long Term ImpactTribal women can maintain their indigenous cultural identity while they confront the changing market economy.
