Mission

DCBF is a US 501 c3 nonprofit charitable supporting organization and a Brazilian NGO dedicated to aiding street children and impoverished youth in Brazil. We work in partnership with local organizations and NGO's to provide: education, moral and social development, humanitarian relief, and the offering of opportunities where there were none before.

Personnel Overview

Ana Cristina Diôgo - Managing Coordinator
Ana is a sociologist with much experience from Project Shanty School, a popular education initiative that culminated in the publication of a booklet and community building of their own school with predominantly female community leaders to gender research studies into behaviors between the sexes, birthing et al. She created many outstanding projects, as well as having published several studies.

Sandra Honorato - Educator & Pedagogic
Sandra has a degree in Literature, specializing in the English Language. She develops the pedagogic support for and works directly with delinquent youth and their families in juvenile probation programs (Projetos PILA-Projeto Integrado de Liberdade Assistida), as well as the Circus school for eco-citizenship (Circo Escola de Ecocidadania). She is administrative assessory to the Solidarity Studio

Ana Patrícia Silveira - Social Educator & Student of Pedagogy
Ana follows the children and their famlies progress and deals with issues related to the various programs and projects.
