Technology Connects Kenya Scientists to Vital Data
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThe Kenyan AIDS Vaccine Initiative (KAVI) Nairobi network connects two field sites in Kenyas capital, Nairobi. Both sites host AIDS vaccine clinical studies, which are data-transfer intensive and require local scientists to be kept up-to-date on research and procedures. Your support will ensure that clinical data gets entered into centralized databases quickly and that Kenyan scientists have access to the latest study results and research. ActivitiesThis project will add workstations for KAVI researchers, pay for access to the Internet and the network, and will allow for the hiring of additional personnel.
