Skills for Change in Agrotechnical Schools
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThere are 342 agrotechnical schools in Argentina, educating more than 171,000 children who will eventually work at farms. The agricultural sector employs 1.4 million people. More than 80% of farms are small producers that depend on their farms to make a living. But agrotechnical schools are not always competitive and updated with the technology that farms use today. Schools do not educate future farmers how to use abilities, skills, and equipment needed today. ActivitiesDuring capacity-building working meetings, school members design a working plan with the objective of increasing quality of agricultural education. We work with the school in the implementation of the plan. Funding InformationThis project has been retired and is no longer accepting donations.
