Project Needs and Beneficiaries

Access to information on social justice in Africa is difficult. Pambazuka News has filled this gap by reaching more than 80,000 readers. It is the authoritative electronic weekly newsletter and platform for social justice in Africa, providing cutting-edge commentary on current affairs, development, human rights, refugees, and culture in Africa. The newsletter is a forum for people to articulate their dreams and share information, facilitating the building of a movement for social justice.

Activities

Pambazuka News distributes a weekly e-newsletter and runs a website that provides space for views, debate and advocacy. Special issues are produced on issues relevant to Africa. Its online database contains more than 30,000 searchable entries.
