Project Needs and Beneficiaries

35% of all Palestinians are poor and children suffer from lack of food. Mothers can be uninformed about the needs of growing bodies. A bad economy has impacted local dairies, affected job security and cost farmers selling milk. Cup of Milk helps all: thousands of kindergartners, hundreds of mothers who also get health workshops, 35 workers at Al-Safa Dairy and 250 dependent farmers.

Activities

Distributes dairy supplements & now bread to thousands of West Bank kindergartners & their families; provides health/nutrition workshops for students/teachers/mothers; supports local economy.

All the family is happy because my daughter brings something back from kindergarten. I sometimes make sweets from the cheese. I notice my daughter talks proudly about kindergarten and loves it now.
