Transfer of Knowledge Through Expatriate Nationals

Mission

The mission of TOKTEN is to provide qualified assistance to high level specialists to help solve the problems in the various sectors of the national economy in connection with the priorities defined by the government. TOKTEN utilizes national human resources to remedy the need of high level specliasts and teachers in the university and Grande Ecoles, Institutes and Research Centers in order to meet the standard of African Universities, and to contribute to their improvement.

Programs

-Participation of consultants in the teaching and research activities -teachers and students training -strengthening of different institutions working with the project -contribution to the improvement of the quality of the training in higher schools -cooperation between higher training centers, the university and business -reinforcement of links of cooperation between the University of Bamako and foreign universities

Personnel Overview

Oumarou Diakite - Coordinator
He holds a degree of higher studies in management of projects. He has a deep knowledge and experiment of formulation of projects, coordination and management of strong projects in the field of education. He is well versed in the approaches and procedures of aid orgnaizations and the UNDP in particular. He is familiar with the University of Bamako. He is able to work in a pressing situation.

Goundiam Maimouna Diakite - Administrative and Financial Assistant
She has a proven knowledge in financial, administrative management and accounting. She has profound knowledge of the approaches and procedures of the aid-agencies and the UNDP in particular. She is competent in data processing and has a solid experience in office automation. She is well mannered and is able to work under pressure. She has sound communication skills in both written and oral French.

Fatoumata Kane - Secretary
She posesses all the secretarial skills required for the job she is holding at TOKTEN.
