World Neighbors works to eliminate the root causes of hunger, disease and poverty. World Neighbors strengthens the capacity of communities to address their priority problems. Success is achieved when partners become self-reliant in managing and leading development activities.

Chris Macoloo - Area Representative for WN East Africa
With over 18 years of professional teaching and development experience in Kenya and a PhD in international development, Dr. Macoloo manages the six programs in Kenya and Tanzania by working with community based partners. Married with 2 children, Dr. Macoloo's passion is community assessment, mobilization and training.
Ruth Okowa - Health Coordinator, WN East Africa
Ms. Okowa, with 10 years of community health experience and a Masters Degree in Public Health, has devoted her career to health issues of her country including child malnutrition, prevention and treatment of malaria and working with rural and urban communities to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS.
Qureish Noordin - Sustainable Agriculture Coord., WN East Africa
Mr. Noordin's 15 years of agricultural development experience show a creative mix of addressing nutrition and livelihoods challenges with agricultural production. Mr. Noordin is especially skilled at working with local farmers and focusing on indigenous species for local growing.
