Mission

DCBF is a US 501 c3 nonprofit charitable supporting organization and a Brazilian NGO dedicated to aiding street children and impoverished youth in Brazil. We work in partnership with local organizations and NGO's to provide: education, moral and social development, humanitarian relief, and the offering of opportunities where there were none before.

Ana 'Cristina' Diôgo Gomes de Melo - Managing Coordinator
A trained sociologist, Cristina’s experience comes from working in marginalized communities since 1982. She is the founder of the Juriti project and she is also an adviser on the Council on Children & Adolescent Rights & the Environment Council. She is part of the commision that evaluates Public Policies for the municipality of Juazeiro do Norte where the project is located.
