More Information About this Project

Project Needs and Beneficiaries

We address the problem of widespread violence & abuse against girls, especially bride price violations that result in early & forced marriages. Our focus is in the rural areas of Tororo, East Uganda, where girls are more subjected to this practice, & have little chance to complete education. Youth in/out of school and young mothers will be targeted, as they are the groups most subject to domestic violence.

Activities

Establish 40 sports clubs in the district. 20 will be for school children & 20 for out of school youth. Sports facilities will be created: football field, a netball field & track. Children will also receive: sports kits, coaching, mentoring.
