More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesCurrently Baotou has no pediatric eye care capability and people's living standards are well below the poverty line. Besides, village doctors are not well-trained. To cope with this problem, ORBIS will partner with a local hospital to establish a professional pediatric eye care centre that can provide quality and affordable services. Also, ORBIS will establish a network of 10 vision centres that can extend paediatric eye care services to poor people. Training will also be provided for doctors.
