Mission

The certification of global polio eradication is the premier goal of Rotary International and its Foundation.

Programs

The PolioPlus Partners program directly supports urgent social mobilization and disease surveillance activities needed for polio eradication. PolioPlus Partners project requests are submitted by Rotarian National PolioPlus Committee Chairs in polio endemic, importation and high-risk countries before Supplementary Immunization Activities (SIAs) take place. These Rotarians develop project requests by working with local officials, WHO and UNICEF to assess unmet needs for SIAs.
