Share & SaveMore Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesChildren seek recognition and a chance to create. In Lyantonde, Uganda, devastated by AIDS, the reality of poverty and social stigma threatens community cohesion and cultural heritage. The needs of AIDS orphans demand a response that extends beyond material support and touches upon the human need to share experiences with others. We want to provide youth with a means of self-expression and a platform to educate public audiences and actively combat social apathy. ActivitiesWork produced from multi-media art projects in Uganda will be exhibited in the United States to collect resources to support programs for youth identified by the community.
