More Information About this Project
Project Needs and Beneficiaries
We envision education that benefits the lives of all students, regardless of whether they do well on exams and have good grades or drop out after middle school and enter the job market. Volunteers and rural teachers create new educational models for middle school students to foster widely applicable skills such as critical thinking, creativity, and the ability to work cooperatively. These problem-solving skills help them cope with challenges in their own life and carry out positive solutions.
Activities
Through short- and long-term volunteers with international backgrounds in education and teaching, we bring much-needed skilled human resources to rural areas to help local teachers improve teaching and curriculum.
