First brand new bicycles have arrived!
Thanks to generous donors to Global Giving and a cash advance made by MMP-MCharity the first 45 bicycles were delivered at the Thankey High School end June 2007

It was a big and joyful event at the Thankey HS on June 26, 2007 with the distribution of the first bicycles. Here a boy receives his bike in presence of his father, of School and Church authorities and 2 Charity representatives on the left.

Some of these happy school boys still did'nt get shoes and go to school pedaling barefoot. The model bike here is a "Hero".

Bicycle for girls
This Indian Bike is called "Lady Bird" and is the model selected for distribution to the girl students in the poor flood-stricken coastal areas of Kerala.

More than 50% of these children in poor coastal areas cannot go to school and are still waiting to get a bicycle.
