Mission
DCBF is a US 501 c3 nonprofit charitable supporting organization and a Brazilian NGO dedicated to aiding street children and impoverished youth in Brazil. We work in partnership with local organizations and NGO's to provide: education, moral and social development, humanitarian relief, and the offering of opportunities where there were none before.

Márcio Paes Selles - President of Reciclarte, Ph.D. in History
Masters in Ancient Music from Sarah Lawrence College in New York in 1989 where he studied voice with Sheila Schonbrum; gamba viola with Judith Davidoff; Medieval and Renaissance music with La Noue Davenport; original notation and Gregorian chanting with Alexander Blachly. In the United States he participated in various concerts. Ph.D. in History from Fluminense Federal University (UFF).
Lenora Pinto Mendes - Treasurer Ph.D. in History
Lenora Pinto Mendes earned a degree in Artistic Education with a specialty in Music from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 1984. In 1989, she completed a masters in Medieval and Renaissance Music from Sarah Lawrence College, NY. In the US, she performed in the Phyllis Kind Gallery of NY, Symphony Space on Broadway, & in the Shakespeare in the Garden event in Nyack, NY.
Sergio Porto da Costa Mattos - Secretary of Reciclarte, Economist
Sergio Porto earned a Masters in Organizations, Systems & Methods from the PUC, Rio de Janeiro. An employee of the Bank of Brazil, he was responsible for Marketing Management in Credit Card Administration, from 1989-90; helped launch the GoldCard which won a prize for Top Marketing strategy; 84-89 working at the Niterói Agency of Bank of Brazil, After retiring he consulted for various businesses.
