Mission
The Holy Cross Neighborhood Association (HCNA) aims to make the Ninth Ward the best place in New Orleans to live and raise families. The HCNA will operate the Center for Sustainable Engagement and Development (CSED) as an information clearinghouse and advocacy base. The CSED will promote cultural and architectural heritage, housing stock improvement, and home ownership. The community will utilize the CSED to obtain their fair share of services and ensure beneficial development.

Personnel Overview
Pam Dashiell - HCNA Board Chair
Ms. Dashiell has been actively involved with the Holy Cross Neighborhood Association since 1990; first as a Board Member, then as HCNA President and currently as Board Chair. Her work has involved outreach and advocacy for the Lower Ninth Ward and other neighborhoods. She also facilitates recovery, planning, restoration and rebuilding assistance for the Lower Ninth Ward/Holy Cross community.
Charles Allen - President, Holy Cross Neighborhood Assoc.
Mr. Allen has been an active member of the Holy Cross community for 26 years. His efforts as HCNA President have been augmented by his seven years employment with the Tulane Center for Biological Research. He is a distinguished member of the community who has been honored by: the Jefferson Parish Office of Environmental Affairs, New Orleans City Council, and the Dean of Tulane University.
