By Sarah Atwood - Development Associate, January 18, 2008 04:05 PM
The work of the Near East Foundation has had a clear impact on the lives of the orphans, particularly in terms of their academic success and also provisions during holidays and other special occasions.
To further develop this project, funding is allocated to sponsor 20 orphans in both the district of Soba and Salma and that of Dar al-Salaam al-Rabwa. NEF is currently in the process of finalizing the choice of which schools to work with and has resumed its with local committees and the education committee to this purpose.
