Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs identifies this village as one of nineteen Bedouin communities at risk of removal to make way for the Separation Wall, planned to reach far into the West Bank to encircle the Israeli settlements of Greater Jerusalem. The families of this valley, the poorest of all in the region, hold a deep commitment to the education of their children. Help them update their modest school to include teacher training and generator-driven computer lab ActivitiesFor 20 yrs, Jerusalem Rabbi Jeremy Milgrom worked with the Jahalin Bedouing, building school rooms, teacher training, bringing tutors. With UN OCHA he mapped the Bedouin communities at risk of removal. Many asked help to build schools. Begin here.
