Kisiizi Malaria & Health Care Project
Mission
To assist the Staff of Kisiizi Hospital, a 250 bed acute care hospital with 6 satellite clincs serving a population of 150-200,00 people, located in a remote, isolated area in southwest Uganda to improve and expand the curative and preventative services which it offers to the people of this region.
Programs
1. Providie mosquito nets for all staff and for patients.
2. Pay for ongoing satellite dish maintenance
3. Teach staff how to deal with the emotional trauma caused by war, poverty and disease.

Personnel Overview
Dave Hibbard, M.D., M.P.H. - Project Director
Peace Corps Volunteer for 2 years in Nigeria and Peace Corps Physician for 2 years in India. Works with his wife, a Ph.D. psychologist a month each year at Kisiizi Hospital, southwest Uganda. 3 grown children. Served on Board of NPCA, National Peace Corps Association. Absolutely committed to serving the staff and patients of Kisiizi Hospital until malaria is no more.
Christine Hibbard, Ph.D. - Co-Founder, Kisiizi Malaria & Health Care Project
A clinical psychotherapist and psychophysiologist for 25 years. She spent the last 7 years working with post war trauma in Kosovo, Israel, Syria and Uganda. On the faculty in Transpersonal Psychology at Naropa University and is an Associate Professor of Spiritual Healing and Energy Medicine at Holos University. A graduate and practitioner of EMDR trauma work.
