Mission
The mission of Atlas Service Corps is to integrate a global nonprofit sector in order to develop a global partnership for development. Atlas Corps facilitates one-year fellowships for rising nonprofit leaders to volunteer overseas for one year. These Fellows then commit to work an additional year in the nonprofit sector of their home countries, sharing new skills, best practices, and valuable experiences.
Programs
Atlas Corps identifies rising nonprofit leaders from the global south to volunteer and receive training in the U.S. for one year at like-minded nonprofit Host organizations.

Personnel Overview
Scott Beale - Founder
Scott Beale founded Atlas Service Corps in 2006. From 2004-06 Scott worked at the US Embassy in New Dehli, India. From 2001-04 he played a major role in the expanison of Ashoka/Youth Venture's operations. Scott also served in the White House in Intergovernmental Affairs and in Governor Carper's (Delaware) office. He is the author of Millienial Manifesto (2001).
Kimi Wetterauer - U.S. Program Director
Kimi Wetterauer has extensive experience in international education and training and cross-cultural exchange. Previously she was the program manager for a nonprofit organization that grants six-month fellowships to mid-career journalists from developing countries. Kimi brings over five years of experience in education, marketing, fundraising and nonprofit management.
Alejandra Henao - Colombia Country Director
Alejandra is responsible for recruiting Fellows, developing partnerships and raising resources for and awareness of Atlas Corps in Colombia. She recently returned to Colombia after working at the Organization of American States (OAS) in DC for almost three years Prior to joining Atlas Corps, Alejandra worked in the political sector in Colombia.
