First donation in but more needed to bring the villagers clean, safe and accessible water

By Andy Woods-Ballard - Director of Operations, October 04, 2007 04:53 PM

The GVI Charitable Trust has already helped raise funds for a number of programs in Mkwiro, including refurbishment of the Orphanage, building of classrooms, provision of food, wages for a pharmacist and many more. With your help we can greatly improve the lives of the villagers by providing clean, safe and accessible water. We are also fundraising from other sources to make up for any shortfall, but please give generously to this program as it is one of the villagers’ priorities. Well over $20,000 have come in from a variety of sources so far and by working closely with the villagers we are ensuring that these funds are used to maximum benefit in a long term and sustainable manner.
