New developments at Vikasini

We were able to mainstream the 2 girls in grade 5 by getting them an admission into grade 6 at St.Johns Church High School, a well known institution in Secunderabad, in addition they have received scholarships. The school's strength was bolstered by 17 new additions to bring it to a total of 71. We have also recruited 2 new teachers and a program officer to manage the school.

There are now 66 girls in the school and the attendance is between 55 - 60 students daily. The school has attracted a donor who has given study desks. This has notched up the students' self confidence quite significantly. We have a volunteer from our board to teach the children science and an engineer to teach maths.
