Mosquito nets distributed to 1286 families!

On April 27, 5 of our village health committees organized a malaria awareness day. Villagers saw the importance of mosquito nets and as a result we were able to distribute 1286 nets. This will affect the health and peace-of-mind of 5144 villagers. The demand has only increased as villagers have recognized how important a mosquito net is. But we are still 2474 nets short of our goal.

Mosquito season approaching...

The rainy season begins in March, so we are quickly approaching mosquito season. Our goal is to distribute one mosquito net per family in 24 villages this year (before the rains begin)! We have almost raised half of the funding we need to do so.
