Books For Africa
Mission
To allieviate the book famine in Africa.
Programs
Books For Africa collects books from schools, libraries, publishers and individuals. The books are carefully screened for content and condition by volunteers in our St. Paul warehouse, then packed into 20-foot and 40-foot sea containers, carrying approximately 25,000 or 35,000 books respectively, to be shipped to non-governmental organizations in Africa for distribution to schools, libraries, orphanages, and adult literacy programs.
