By Vicky Ng - Donor Development Officer, April 01, 2008 06:59 PM
Our program colleague has visited the project site in January this year and noticed that the following items of the project have already been completed since last November, they include: a concrete-integrated school building of 77 m2 with 2 classrooms and 1 staff room; a squat toilet with 4 stalls; blackboard and teaching podium have also installed in each classroom; and a table-tennis table has also constructed; Students will be studying in this newly-reconstructed school in the coming April this year.
The newly-reconstructed school building and its facilities could enable 235 school children in Jili Township, Yunnan to study in safe and stable environment and to better equip themselves for lifting out from poverty.
