NETWORK ON ETHICS, LAW, HIV/AIDS (NELA)

Mission

To mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDS on individuals, families and communities and to strengthen the capacity of community organizations to do the same.

Programs

NELA's programs include OVC,positive Prevention,care and support for PLWHAs, treatment of opportunistic infections, reduction of stigma, nutritional support, VCCT, PMTCT, Homebased care and support, capacity strengthening for NGOs/CBOs and advocacy.

Personnel Overview

Olowokere Kemi - Senior Programme Officer
She supervises NELA 's programme on OVC and support group meetings of PLHIV.

Osifeso Bukky - Programme Officer
She is the nursing officer in charge of NELA's short stay care clinic and she is actively involved in OVC and care and support for PLHIV.She does home based care and also treat minor ailment in her disposition.She also makes referrals when necessary.

Kehinde Salam - Programme Assistant
She is the nurse in charge of home based care.During her visit,she renders care services and also provide nutritional support to the OVC.
