Mission

CHEC works to empower communities and the general public to address HIV/AIDS, TB and STIs and to reduce stigma and discrimination against PLWHAs and their families.

Programs

CHEC programs including prevention and home based care. CHEC has been requested by their communities to make scaling up the home based care program focusing on OVC to enable CHEC to build upon the solid platform of work they already demonstrate in HIV prevention, care and support. •Community-based services for PLHA •AIDS home care integration with TB detection and treatment •Strategies responding to the needs of children and orphans affected by AIDS •PLHA self-help groups and advocacy
