Mission
To make real the idea of society consisting of free and equal citizens who are able to come together & solve the problems that affect them in their particular contexts through - Creation of platforms for people to come together & participate in development processes; Equipping village groups & leaders with skills & resources to respond to their own needs; &, Ensuring that members of village communities are able to interact with, & access benefits from government & non-government agencies.
Programs
Seva Mandir works through a triangular strategy based on strengthening sustainable livelihoods, building peoples capabilities, and empowering village institutions. Seva Mandirs work spans village institutions, natural resource management, income-generation activities, health, education, womens empowerment, and child development. At the village level, democratic village institutions are formed, which are responsible for managing all aspects of local development. (469)

Angela Jacob - Incharge-Education
Angela Jacob has done her Undergraduate in Arts and she has been working for past 15 years in Seva Mandir. Presently she is the Incharge of Education program. She has worked extensively in Women Empowerment Program.
Megha Jain - Program In Charge - NFE
Megha has done her Masters in Family Community Science from Baroda MS University. She has been working with Seva Mandir for past 1 year. She is also looking after a pilot action study to prevent Migration of Children in Kotra Block.
