Mission
To make real the idea of society consisting of free and equal citizens who are able to come together & solve the problems that affect them in their particular contexts through - Creation of platforms for people to come together & participate in development processes; Equipping village groups & leaders with skills & resources to respond to their own needs; &, Ensuring that members of village communities are able to interact with, & access benefits from government & non-government agencies.
Programs
Seva Mandir works through a triangular strategy based on strengthening sustainable livelihoods, building peoples capabilities, and empowering village institutions. Seva Mandirs work spans village institutions, natural resource management, income-generation activities, health, education, womens empowerment, and child development. At the village level, democratic village institutions are formed, which are responsible for managing all aspects of local development. (469)

Renu Tiwari - Incharge- Immunization
Renu did her Masters in Home Science from the Rajasthan Agriculture University in Udaipur. After working briefly at the University and with District Poverty Alleviation Project she joined Seva Mandir. Over the last 5 years she has been associated with the Health Project, Immunization in Particular.
