Mission

Promote the empowerment and development of youth, encouraging them to wake their entrepreneurial, creative and innovative spirit, and to take their physical and intellectual capacities to work in partnership with community based organizations and their leaders.

Programs

Secondary school education projects (sports, culture, literature). Female student/athlete scholarships. Sport for development. Community grant-making and youth entreprenuerial support.

Personnel Overview

Sabina Sequeira - Program Officer
A recent Princeton graduate, Sabina has done summer research at the Center for Strategic & International Studies and Council on Foreign Relations. At Princeton, she was campus coordinator for Democracy Matters and business manager of the Wildcats A Capella group. Sabina grew up in Colorado, spending many summers in Mangalore, India. She is working for FLM this year as a Princeton in Africa Fellow.

Gabriel Fossati-Bellani - Director, Institutional Development
Gabriel came to Mozambique as a Princeton In Africa Fellow in 2003 working as Coordinator for Right to Play. Gabriel consulted for the UN Resident Coordinator on a Policy Paper, UN year of Sports in 2005. He graduated in 2003 from Princeton. There he co-founded the Black Student Union. Born in Milano, he emigrated to Palo Alto, CA at 2 years. He is the proud father of a 13-month old son Amani.
